Research Questions
From this framework, our project was guided by three core research questions:
- What Indigenous educational activities have emerged at Western University since founding (1863) to present (2023)?
- How have Indigenous peoples’ visions for education emerged, survived and struggled at Western University over time?
- How have Indigenous peoples' experiences at the University been shaped by the ongoing nature of settler colonialism?
